After reading the DD on govenors and characters, I thought of something I'd love to see. Basically, you get a pool of "good candidates" for your characters of govenors, each of these also have hidden traits that wont be immediately apparent, and can accumulate traits over time depending on what happens.

So you can end up assigning someone you initially like, only to discover them being corrupt or trying to build their own faction or mini empire within your rule. And the kicker, you cant just remove them from office without consequences...

Alternatively, having the choice to assign a govenor you know to be incompetent in return for political gain (whatever that is in the game), in effect appointing some powerful family's favourite despite his/her/its credentials..

There is a feature called "factions." And we know scientists, governors, and generals/admirals can lead factions. So I imagine there will be some intrigue. If enough POPs support a faction I bet it will rebel.

Of course, we don't yet know what "factions" really are. We simply know is that they exist and scientists, etc, can lead them. So take the above paragraph with a grain of salt.
