Hello,
I am not sure if i can post this, my apologies if i break a rule.

I first created a sound mod for myself then decided to share it on the workshop.
At the moment, the mod is closing to a first "complete" version.

Most of the sounds have been changed, you can see the details there:

I am searching for some players to give me some feedback and answer some questions.
If you play Steel Division skirmish, replays or solo a lot, maybe you can try it.

If you are interested, you can communicate via this thread, private message or steam : http://steamcommunity.com/id/LFIS-LEADER

Sorry about English errors.

So in the download version of your mod there's /AppPlatforms/Sound/Assets/SoundModding/*loads of sound files

Then there is /Gameplay/Everything.bin which is basically a binarized file that has most of the config data. I'm guessing sounds.ndf is part of this

And when I delete that folder, the two mods work together, but the sounds don't work...

So it really seems like the game doesn't allow two mods to both alter everything.ndfbin, which isn't very good when that file contains... (almost) everything

I hope it's not actually as bad as this

Yes actually, what i understand is that it seems to pack any altered config files into this .ndfbin .
It is possible to make mods who replace assets (textures, sounds...) and they should be compatible.
However add more assets/variations and it is considered gameplay mod because altering any .ndf.

I wanted to have more than 4 generic rifles sounds and now my mod is flagged as gameplay.
All i can do is to upload and give my .ndf , if someone really want both mods to be compatible or wait to see if the devs change how it does work.

You should talk to the devs about this. Your mod also stops me from joining ranked games, etc.

I have read somewhere that they are aware of this.
Also, i have trouble to communicate with them, they are not very talkative.
