unfortunately i just found out how to make youtube videos with fraps+vidxcoder+ virtual dub yesterday. if i can figure out how to intersperse gameplay footage with real ww2 footage i will for sure, but i do not know at the moment if i can do that or not. I plan to try and publicize the ICE mod though because you did alot of great work and any hearts of iron fan should seriously consider downloading the mod.

Interesting video, I never saw a videa AAR before but yours is cool.

If I can make two suggestions :
- more important (if possible) would be to make your video in 720p at least, in order to be able to actually see something about the game when we are listen to you.

- the second as I suggested earlier would be to add some real WWII footage when you are doing repetetive task like making up the OOB, I would love to see some german troops walking while you are setting them to the Siegfried Line.

i just added a 2nd part i think it has 720p. I don't know how to get quality footage without a massive file. I use fraps and then use xvid video compressor, maybe thats not the right way to do it, but i will ask around. Also, i will try and see if i can do that kind of movie add on such as the german troops walking.

just watched part one. I like it that you don't spend too much time explaining every little detail. we all know what's what. just one small question: is it wise to start researching something that's too advanced for 1936?

i research night fighting equipment because it usually ends up being ready to go by september 1st 1939, and its an almost global 10% fighting bonus, so to me its surely worth it

not to hog the limelight, but I noticed from your second video that something's wrong in my game. I timed it. at 5 chevrons, you are going at 5 minutes per month. I spend about 20. My pc runs on dual-core 2Ghz CPU, SF2.03 with ICE 2.1.6. Is my game so slow because of the processor being four years old or is something else wrong with it? oh, and I'm running on Vista.

Probably the hardware.... I'm no expert, but I'm running on a quad-core Athlon 2 processor with 8gb ram until there's tons of units running around, it runs super fast, much like nightraid3r's machine....

I never saw anyone playing the game and I am very curious to see how you will manage your game. You are already making choices I don't in my campaigns so yeah please continue.

I see you are not researching the delay reduction doctrine (operational level organisation) and while you tell you don't want to work on the Kriegsmarine you still research Marine infantry.
