Also, what I've noticed when looking at the map is this:

upload_2016-6-15_13-27-3.png

If we're going to have a joint Britto-Greek force attack the Ottomans, Greeks have to be in control of these two provinces. So, maybe we say that there was somewhat like the Third Balkan War during the 14-36 period?

Covered already: the Third Balkan War in 1935 results in those provinces being ceded to Greece.

EDIT: or we can change the year to whatever suits our narrative should the need arise.

Here are the monarchist post-war events. Well, or their first pack.

Event: The new order
Order returns to France, unified once again, but under a Monarchist banner. A new kind of order. Dictated by Charles Maurras' ideas, the newborn French state takes its shape: one party, one nation, one Chef, one Ruler. Censorship is enforced and borders are closed, making it almost impossible to see foreigners anywhere outside of Paris. And even there they are always watched, guarded, spied on. However, everyone understands that this is just the beginning of Maurras' policy changes. To the victor -- the spoils, and he is set on gathering all the spoils he can.
Options:
A) National-monarchism will drive us forward, to the perfect totalitarian state!
Effects: +20 dissent, SS-like divisions called "La Police Noire" arrive, move sliders 3 towards authoritarian, 3 to closed society, 3 to planned economy
B) Implement major changes, but make space for controlled capitalism
Effects: +15 dissent, LPN divisions arrive in lesser quantity, sliders move 2 to authoritarian, 2 to closed society, 2 to planned economy
C) We need modernism, not utter society destruction
Effects: +10 dissent, no divisions, sliders move 1 to authoritarian, 1 to closed society, 1 to planned economy
Any of these trigger: Event: Memorial to the National Revolution in 60 days; Event: Formation of CPAI in 30 days; Event: Monachist Indoctrination in 3 days; Event: The end of regency in 4 days; Event French foreign relations in 3 days; Event: Modernizing the army in 3 days; Event: Economic policy of Monarchist France in 3 days

Event: Monarchist Indoctrination
"...And we know that you, French boys and girls, are taking on everything that we hope for from France. We want to be one people. And you, my youth, are to be this people!" -- Charles Maurras' electric speech to the French youth was broadcasted on radio, covering all of France. In schools, kindergardens, universities -- all the educational establishments, French are taught what is it to be French. From the age of six, a young person joins "L'Union des Miettes Monarchistes", where they are told for the first time the the four principles: the principle of discipline, the principle of unity, the principle of action and the principle of pride. When they are ten years old, boys and girls are separated, joining "La Jeunesse Française" and "L'Union des Filles" respectively. At the age of fourteen, French teens are first expected to move to "Les Jeunes Camelots" and "L'Union des Jeunes Femmes Françaises" and then later to rejoin in "La Ligue des jeunes monarchistes", from which the new young personel are supposed to go right into the party's bureaucratic system.
Options: A) Kids are much more responsible these days
Effects: move sliders +1 to closed society

Event: French Foreign Relations (MF)
Monarchists' victory in the civil war didn't strengthen France's relationships with other countries, especially after Paris, tourists' Mecca, has been almost completely closed down from visitors, just like the rest of the country. Horryfying stories about political and ethnic presecutions reached the rest of Europeans' ears. Those, who managed to escape, stayed to live in Germany, Britain, Russia, or moved to the USA. And, of course, there still remained the question of Brittany, which remained independent and supported by Britain.
Options: A) French diplomats must be careful not to bring doom upon us
Effects: -50 to relations with Britain, -50 to relations with Germany, -50 to relations with Switzerland, -50 to relations with Russia, -50 to relations with USA, -50 to relations with Spain, enable decision "The Breton question", sliders move 2 to closed society, 5 to isolationist

Event: Modernizing the army
Officers and gererals of the French army participate in the reforms too. As one of the dominating forces in the country, bringing the actual state to its existence, their opinion on the matters cannot be ignored, and their demands must be satisfied. As Maurras views the future which brings war with the foreigners, he clearly unerstands the need to modernise the army. It's time to choose a new mind behind army's structure.
Options:
A) Pierre Kœnig, Superior Firepower
Effects: Get a couple of blueprints for superior firepower doctrine
B) Jean Marie de Lattre de Tassigny, Levée en masse
Effects: Get a couple of blueprints for mass conscription doctrine
C) Gaston Billote, Armored Spearhead
Effects: Get a couple of blueprints for armored spearhead doctrine, trigger Event: Knights of the new age

Event: Economic policy of Monarchist France
French economy after the civil war was devastated: manpower lost, factories and ports destroyed, country depopulated. As a part of their modernization course, Maurras' government formed CPAÉ, or "Commissariat du Peuple des Affaires Économiques", responsible for France's economic revival. CPAÉ restored factories, found people employment, repaired and purchased machines, organized orphanages for waives who filled the streets of French cities after the terrible war.
Options: A) Start working immediately!
Effects: -5 dissent, trigger: Event: Farming subsidies in 30 days; Event: New French industry in 365 days; Event: Le système national d'autoroutes in 365 days; Event: Voiture du Peuple in 90 days

Event: The end of regency
The day all monarchists in France awaited and prayed for has finally arrived. Maurras gathered with the ministers in Versailles to decide on who will bring the end to French Regency. There are two options: Prince Jean, Duke of Guise, already aged and a moderate in politics, and Louis Napoleon, young and promising, also easier to control. Whoever of the two potential candidates becomes the new ruler of France is up to Maurras to decide at this point.
Options:
A) Maurras stays with the Orleanistes, Jean III is the new King
Effects: -10 dissent, Jean III is set HoS, MF renamed Kingdom of France, change flag, trigger Event: Jean III's speech
B) Napoleonistes convince Maurras to make Louis Napoleon VI a new Emperor
Effects: -10 dissent, Napoleon VI is set HoS, MF renamed French Empire, change flag, trigger Event: Napoleon VI's speech
C) Chef is the only autocrat there can be!
Effects: +40 dissent, Charles I Maurras is set HoS, trigger Event: Charles I's speech

Event: Formation of CPAI
CPAI, or "Commissariat du Peuple des Affaires Intérieures", was an institution, formed by the French government after the civil war. Its initial goals were to purify the French society, getting rid of those deemed 'untrustworthy' by the state: minorities, politically different from the majority, rebellous. Soon the 'Black Police' controlled people tightly, performing regular crackdowns on the 'enemies of the state' and analysing delations sent by the citizens themselves. "I think my neighbour is hiding something from the rest" was a common delation text, although many of those sending the letters were simply jealous of what their neighbours possessed. To process such massive amounts of information, Black Police organized brigades of three who arrived to people's houses at night, carrying out judgement without any need for a judge or a prosecutor.
Options: A) The crime rates drop significantly!
Effects: sliders move 3 to closed society, 3 to authoritarian, +10 dissent

Event: The Great Purge
Massive columns of people move through the roads of France. But nobody speaks about it. Although everyone knows "Forêt d'hêtres", "Les marais gris", "Drancy" and "Le complexe du travail 'Bourgogne", you will never see people mentioning these names. If you ask a person in the street whether he knows what's "Forêt d'hêtres" or not, he won't respond. Most just look away and go about their business, others whisper you their honest advice: never ask that again to anyone, because you may wake up to their men knocking on your door. How many people have gone missing like that? Politicians, poets, writers, journalists... We'll never know.
Options: A) Concentration camps? I wonder what is that even...
Effects: +20 dissent

Event: Memorial to the National Revolution heroes
Charles Maurras gave a speech today in Brasserie Lipp, monarchists' most popular beer hall in all of Paris. He mentioned that French people have to remember the heroes of the "National revolution" (The government's official name for 'The Black Coup'). Construction had already started on the Place de Louis XV, the central square of Paris and, according to the plans, a temple to the National Revolution heroes who died in its process will be placed right before the Luxor obelisk. In fact, the plans expanded with years, surrounding the obelisk with the different parts of the temple complexe, which was also meant to serve as a museum.
Options: A) French people have to remember their heroes
Effects: -5 dissent

I also suggest we incorporate LoB's French events into our mod, they've got the "Strassbourg conference" event chain, which is a kind of OTL Munich-like conference about eating Belgium and also "Knight of the new age" about forming tank divisions, namely, 'Charlemagne', and "Voiture du Peuple" about cheap cars for regular people. What do you think? Green light, Korsteeni?

Stay tuned, next time I'll be finishing off the monarchist events we haven't done yet, continuing event chains and adding flavour.

The Belgium annexation was actually a part of PtEAP as well, though it could also be achieved by military means. And yes, that sounds pretty good overall.

I have some suggestions:
1) For Serbia: Serbian HoG Milan Stojadinovic (germanophile), together with Dragisa Cvetkovic, when war starts Serbia have option for Entente sponsored coup d'état which topple government and Dusan Simovic became HoG (like real-life timeline 27. may coup) and Serbia joins Entente. Event is sparked when traditional Russian Ally Montenegro joins Entente.
2) For China: After Japanese invasion of Manchuria and military defeat of China, Qing dynasty is overthrown and republic of China is formed under Sun Yat Sen (that is done in HoI2 mod version), Sun Yat Sen dies in 1942 and Mao Zedong or Chiang Kai-shek takes government (possible civil war and Japanese intervention).
3) Russian Civil War: Soviet Victory cause USSR to form Comintern with other early established communist countries and fight against capitalist alliances.

Well, China is already split into Qing and Republic, while there's no civil war in Russia, so two of these suggestions are out. 'Bout the first one you have to ask Korsteeni.

I think about Russian Civil War if Russia lose war. At start of HoI2 mod if you play as Russia you have event that Lenin is still alive and is in Swiss, later there is event that Lenin returns to Russia if war is lost and cause revolution and civil war to start.

The first one actually sounds pretty good. I was thinking of having a SER+MTN alliance at the start of scenario though, but maybe just a mutual guarantee of independence + relations at +200 would be better.

BTW, I read about the Serbian situation and found out that Prince Mirko of Montenegro was to be named King Alexander's Crown Prince. Now, if I understand this correctly, Mirko's son Prince Michael would be the heir apparent to the Serbian throne in 1936 while his uncle Danilo reigns as the King of Montenegro. This in turn means that once Danilo dies (childless) in 1939 the heir apparent of Serbia becomes the king of an another country. It goes without saying that this could prove to be problematic in the right circumstances, especially when Alexander eventually dies as well. Would Austria tolerate the two crowns unifying, for example?

Yes, that sounds good, provided that any other socialist countries exist by then, of course.

Well, the first issue I see as a potential crisis, waiting to be resolved in between Serbia and Austria, probably involving other countries in the region, which is cool.

However, the second issue I can't agree with. By 1930s the revolutionary movement would've been long stomped out by the Russian government. And Lenin is already dead, so no popular revolutionary leader for you. The revolution always exists when there's a base. But I don't see any current base in Russia for communism. However... We could see a classy liberation movement. Like, the oppressed nations are trying to become free and there's a liberal revolution which makes the Tsar/Tsaritsa abdicate and institutes a republic. Isn't that much more interesting? After all, we have seen a powerful communist threat in too many DH mods, hell, even vanilla has it.

Hey, that's awesome! Although Dusan Popov probably is a wrong pick -- Germany and Britain are clearly not allies. Only against a common threat, maybe.

Hm, I guess the new generation of Russian leftists would instead try to achieve their ends through democratic means, seeing how their predecessors have been beaten into pulp for three decades straight by now. (Wonder how far the Russification of Finland would be in this world...)

About Lenin: he'd be only 65 at the start of the scenario and he probably never would've been shot in this world (i.e. no complications from that), so he could live a good ten more years as a semi-famous Russian leftist speaker residing in Switzerland. Maybe he could become acquainted with Red France if the Monarchists and Republicans lose...?

Well, look at leftist Russia in cookfl's Crown Atomic. They are pretty democratic, although not super leftist -- social democrat only. Still, I think that after the old revolutionaries, Lenin's type, got old and died, being replaced by the new ones -- these new leftists have lost that courage their predecessors had. Now they are in favour of democracy and its means, or, when revolutions comes, of a moderately red government which only makes the Tsar abdicate. No killing. Whad'ya think?

And yes, I totally thought about Lenin arrivivng to French Communal Union if they win the war.

Here, mostly finished and done for now, lay early events for MF France. What do you think, boys? Korsteeni, think you can handle that?

As Maurras views the future which brings war with the foreigners, he clearly understands the need to modernise the army. It's time to choose a new mind behind army's structure.

Effects: -5 dissent, trigger: Event: Farming subsidies in 30 days; Event: New French industry in 365 days; Event: Le système national d'autoroutes in 365 days; Event: Voiture du Peuple in 90 days

Event: Farming subsidies
Farmers are the backbone of French economy, as they provide our country with food and other valuable materials, which is especially important now, after the end of civil war. CPAÉ suggests the government would give them green light in subsidizing farmers. As most ties to the outside world have been cut, farmers should now start working supporting their state only.

Effects: -100 money, -2000 supplies, -2500 energy, -2000 raw materials, -5 dissent, gain blueprints for agriculture
B) No, we have other things to invest into
Effects: +10 dissent

Event: New French industry
Chef inspected today the newly-built industrial complexes near Orleans and Paris and he was left satisfied. The building shine under sunlight, and people have found their new jobs to earn from. These developments will surely not go to waste in the coming years.
Options: A) People of France! To the factories!
Effects: +5 IC in Paris, +5 in Orleans, +3 in Marseille, + 1 in all the lesser cities.

Event: Le système national d'autoroutes
Charles Maurras was driven today in his car for the first time on the new autoroute. He found it smooth and stated that his expectations had been fulfilled. Now a whole system of these autoroutes unites all of France, making travel a lot easier and faster.
Options: A) From Paris to Marseille in 11 hours!
Effects: -5 dissent

Event: Voiture du Peuple: Same deal as with the Knights of the new age -- recycle it all, make an event chain out of them instead. I've already altered the texts, so no need to worry here. Also, don't forget that we'll have to add tech team 'VdP R&D Bureau'.

Effects: +40 dissent, Charles I Maurras is set HoS, trigger Event: Charles I's speech, MF is renamed French Monarchy

Event: Jean III's speech
Jean III, the new King of France, addressed his people on the radio today, marking his reign's beginning. A man in his early sixties, Jean is a renown gentleman, philanthropist and charity foundation organizer. Popular, skilled, experienced, he seemed as a better monarch when compared to Louis Napoleon. With Jean's ascension to the throne, the modern Napoleon dynasty was swiftly forgotten.
Options: Long live the King!
Effects: -5 dissent

Event: Napoleon VI's speech
Nepoleon VI is from now on the new Emperor of France. Restoring the third Empire is surely a difficult task to perform, but with an image of young Louis: strong, beautiful, brave and decisive as an image of a true French, France looks even more modern. As Maurras stated in the very beginning of his successful political career: "We need a modern France", and now both his cabinet and monarch symbolize what 'modern' is.
Options: Long live the Emperor!

Event: Emperor Louis' new spouse
Emperor Napoleon is young and has yet to marry. Of course, he will be picked a spouse from one of Europe's royal houses. These are the options.

C) Alexandra, princess of Russia (Daughter of Olga Romanova and Duke Dmitry Pavlovich)
Effects: +50 relations with Russia, trigger Event: Princess Alexandra is discontent

Event: Charles I's speech
Charles I Maurras delivered his speech which millions of French listened to eagerly. The leader of the new dynasty, he spoke about modernism which all national-monarchists chould embrace. No other god, but Christ, no other nation, but the French, no other King or Emperor, only the Monarch. This is the essence of national-monarchism now.

Effects: +50 relations with Spain, trigger Event: Non-agression pact with France? for Spain
C) Alexandra, princess of Russia
Effects: +50 relations with Russia, trigger Event: Princess Alexandra is discontent

I was going to follow this unlikely event with Le Corbusier asking permission to rebuild the city according to his plans, i.e. massive blocky skyscrapers everywhere and mass transit completely redone, but I'm not sure...

Sure I can handle that. A lotta work, but no prob.

Hey, could you see if the code on this event of my own is correct? I'm unable to test it right now:

No-no, it's an awesome idea, go ahead. Moreover, I think there must be similar events not for Paris only, but for the entirety of France for each individual faction. Also, the code looks fine. And I don't think you can remove manpower directly from a single province, unfortunately.

Okay then. Funny, Peace Without Victory has events that add manpower to provinces - think it would also be possible to remove it.
