Worst manual EVER!

I dont know if everybody else get some other manual which i highly doubt but i got my md from steam and i read the manual it offers.

Its not a manual! At best its a review of the game! I got no help about how to play the game just some vague idea about the concepts of the game.

Thank god for internet game forums!And even so much of the game remains a mistery to me , i dont even know if i get bugs or if theres something im not getting...

Is there a way to to maybe get people to make a manual-post in here and in the taleworlds forum?

There is quite a few guide on taleworlds forum, but the forum quite overloaded right now.

Has for steam manuel all I am getting is the document is broken. So no idea if same version then gamersgate.

Has for how to play the game, you play like you want, it a sandbox game for the single players. The aim are yours you want to achieve are yours to set.

That's how they've decided to go. At best you get a base understanding of the game. I was a little disappointed about the manual myself. Its pretty much a 'copy & paste' from the original M&B. Nothing to tell you about new features in the single player game.

That should help you out a bit more, but even still it needs some updating too. The best thing I've used that for is to find out what companions don't like each other and then not hire them.

Completely agree with that, there really was almost nothing new added to the manual. Even most of the pictures are copy & paste from the original manual.

I didn't read the whole thing but from what i saw they didn't even mention the new courting system.

Yeah exactly. I think they should have at least gave us some idea of the new features and a rough idea of what they entail.

lol Thanks. Two years unemployed in California (I worked in new home construction) and its time to go back to Manitoba, where I am from, to find work. Hopefully if everything goes well I'll be there in august sometime.

Worse case just go look in Alberta, shouldn't have trouble finding construction work there.

That could work, but family and friends are in Wpg and thats where all my contacts are. Plus construction kinda messed my back up more than it already was , so I need a desk job until I can go to the Construction Management course they are starting up in Red River College, after that I want to get LEED certified. Thats my plan anyway.

Actually I talked with my mother last night and we may have a house to move into already. Its no sure thing, but I am hoping. I'd rather not have to spend time in my mothers basement if I can avoid it. lol

Warband does not have the worst manual ever. That title is probably reserved for Achtung Panzer because the difference between the two of them is you hardly need one for Warband while you really need one for AP.

Agree with you on that one, Achtung Panzer could really use a better manual.


Has for Warband if you open the note section, there is a nice tab in it called game concept, it explain about everything that not explain in the manual. =)

Haha, this was my thought at as well. Not sure which manual they mean though. I bought the game on Steam, didn't see a manual but did a search of the interwebs and found a 68-page manual that I thought got me up to speed.

This is the first game Ive bought where I havent read the manual before extensively playing it. Partly because its an online manual as I got the game on Steam but also becuase its just too much fun playing the game to read the manual! Ive learned a lot by messing around in multiplayer and reading internet sites to try to avoid getting killed every ten seconds. But I have to admit the single player campaign thing completely baffels me as to what I am supposed to be doing and what I can and cannot do so is uppose I will have to read it eventually. Great game though, superb gameplay. I love all the feints , blocks, chambered blocks etc it could take me a lifetime to learn how to play this game properly.
