While you should consider idea groups as a whole and bad ideas might be offset by good set in general I always feel kinda bored when getting the absolutely worst ideas. Even if they happen to be in the Ottoman idea set.
(I realize there have probably been a lot of threads like this but) What do you think are the absolutely worst ideas in the game, those that could be replace with blank and you wouldn't care. Can you fill a whole set perhaps?
My try: (not using generic ideas)
Traditions:
Burgundy: 5% Cavalry combat ability. Cavalry is not really the main part of my army, and then I get only 5%? (also one that have the record for largest ratio with the best idea, 33/5=6.6)
Tuscany: +5% tax income. Meeh. Just meeeeh.
Aztec 1 : -10% cost of reducing war exhaustion. Should count how many times I do this a game and multiply by 7.5. Probably won't be enough for this to feel worthwhile.
Oman 2: -10% Shipbuilding time. Building navy might be slightly irritating sometimes. But the navy is not so important that 10% is anywhere near interesting.
Andean 3: -10% Reduce inflation cost. Again something I don' do often and a small change.
Tarascan 4: -10% recruitment time. Never felt "if I could get my army done a little faster. Never will feel "If I could get my army done 10% faster".
Circassia: -1% Prestige decay. When I'm at 100 the this equals the not so good +1 yearly prestige. When I'm at hundred prestige usually not that important and when I'm not this will be even worse.
Omani 6: Skilled Captains. Will give me +5% trade power for each fleet I waste a leader slot on. Maybe I will acquire one. Late game.
Cyprus 7: 15% privateer efficiency. Not a big user of privateer and this won't really change that.
Ambition:
Bavaria: 5% Imperial Influence. So if I decide to become emperor. If I still need imperial authority by the middle of 15 hundreds then this might yield my a few points. Hurray.
Poor Oman got two, really like those though. So your turn, what is the worst ideas?
