Hmm... if they've moved to a keyhole drive approach, simply opening a wormhole near the enemy won't be enough. You'd have to convince them to engage their wormhole resonator as well.

That doesn't preclude something like this turning up in the Tech that Blorg Was Not Meant To Know end of research, of course.

Wouldn't that just transport the enemy station/ship/fleet to the other side of the wormhole?
It could also be used as a defensive weapon. If a hostile fleet warps into your home system, open up a wormhole under them and send them back home!
Not possible in-game unless perhaps enemy also uses worm hole FTL, because:
Per the latest Blorg stream, to use a wormhole your ships need a wormhole modulator.

Well, it may well be that you can use an enemy's wormhole to move your own ships... although I suspect the game does not allow that by design. Either the thing is only kept open long enough for them to shift their own ships, or you need the right resonance protocols, or some other fictional excuse for this fictional thing.

Nonetheless it appears that wormhole travel is an active process. In order to use the one your station has set up, you need to engage your ship's Wormhole-enator.

An enemy setting up one in the middle of your fleet is going to have no effect unless you obligingly move in range of the endpoint and activate the gadget. I'd be far more worried (as I said before) about the possibility of some lethal suicide ship emerging, than its (non) ability to kidnap your ships.

(Requiring a Wormhole Modulator also removes the trick of putting one end in a star and the other end near a target. No Starkiller Base Interstellar Plasma Guns with starting tech, thanks!)
