I couldn't find a map of the Rhinelands real-life size or shape so I couldn't tell what provinces I should use. If you can find one then please let me know where you can find it. Many thanks.

Well, 'Rheinland' is a bit of an ambiguous term, which is used over the years to describe a whole range of specific areas in Western Germany. As far as your Rhineland Free State is concerned, the three Southern-most provinces would include the Weimar states of Baden, Wurttemberg and about half of Hessen (although part of the Saarbrucken province belonged to Bavaria!). For the actual 'Rhineland' bit, you're probably best off basing it on the Prussia's actual 'Provinz Rheinland': http://www.deutsche-schutzgebiete.de/webpages/Rheinland_im_Deutschen_Reich+.gif

You could also possibly add Westphalen if you really wanted to as well: http://www.deutsche-kaiserreich.de/

Thank you Sarmatia. I actually managed to find a map on encarta and on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Germany_Laender_Map.png last night which I used to edit the map. I added Baden-Württemberg to the Rhineland because it borders France and the whole point of the Rhineland Free States creation was to act as a buffer zone for France.

However, I would like opinions on this.

Have I now given them too much land? Should I give Munster back to the communists?

Bad news
Ok, since my last post I have had to completely restart this mod due to a severe coruption of my HOI2 folder (Note to self:- make a back up).
Good news
It's actually already back to how it was except for two events which I'll be adding in tonight again (Thank god for keeping all my notes on paper).

Anyway, due to health problems I may not be able to get online for a few days but I will continue with this mod on my laptop.

Before a go, can someone make a flag set for this

It may need to be redone for the flag as the hammer and sickle is slightly ugly.

I would give Munster back to the Communists. It doesnt border the Rhine or France (and looks a little ugly). Of course you could use Munster as an event by Communist germany to sede it back to the DDR.
