I think they should tie doctrines in with army/navy/airforce experience rather than regular research. It felt like little Finland developed its doctrine way too fast.
hey guys, i'm not english and my hearing is not perfect but i think that in minute 1:40 they say that USSR is being played by the guy with the hat so there is nothing wrong with that AI at least (the german one is another thing)

has part 3 been posted yet?
number 3 video finland play they say in munte 1,40 to 1,4# that the hat guy is playing as russia but actualy he's not doing anything in his pc so that's the lack of USSR AI but as i said that is one thing and the ai from germany in this video (i haven't reached this part yet) or italy in the other videos is another.
Edit: Actually i'm pretty worried with germany AI right now after seeing the full video...
I watched todays video and IMO, AI is super weak/passive - whare the hell were all those Soviet dovisions? Same goes to german AI, which didnt seem to be able to conquer Poland....
Well, this AI look weaker that HoI3 had, when it was released...Now, I'm rarely the one to defend Paradox on these forums but I think it's far too early to start damning HoI4 for it's non-existent AI in one video we saw. It seems logical to me that they wouldn't invest too much into coding the AI until all the features were in, so it's most likely something that gets worked on fairly late in development. Besides the combat AI wasn't what we were supposed to take from this video, it was the peace-time stuff that you can do. The war was just added to give a satisfying conclusion to the video, not to show off combat and such.

You can. Because it would be pointless to begin developing it when all features haven't been implemented yet.Sorry, but the AI is an essential thing in every game. You can't program that just before release...
