I vote for continued Japan, since we haven't seen any significant naval combat yet.

Continue Japan. That way we say more of the AI involved in major war. Especially US naval war.

1. To see some substantial naval combat which we are on the cusp of being able to see now.

Personally, I would like to see their boasting put to test and stomp USSR with Finland. Also curious if Finland received their own set of national foci or are they stuck with generics.
The whole world started exploding in those last 5 minutes so lets continue Japan for one more session.
I learned very little new stuff last week, so my vote is for Daniel to have a hard time for once, as Poland France or Finland, and see what the AI can do when it's the overdog.
I support Japan. I want to see lategame stuff too.
But should the devs choose something else I have three favorites: Sweden, Italy and France.

Only major countries have their own national focus (UK, USA, USSR, France, Japan, Italy and Germany), so Finland has a generic one.
And I vote for another session with Japan. I want to see a deep war with USA, how it's hard to manage a sea war involving a lot of fleets on each side and if AI is good when it come to island hopping.
I want to see France 1936 start. I think it is time for a new stream with a new country. I would be ok with a minor country as well. I hope they end the Japan stream because this feels like a good spot to end it; we got to see everything they wanted to show except the naval combat (you tried Da9l) If they keep going as japan there will not be another good spot to end it. And I think people do want to see other countries. In the new stream I would want to see the player using their political power influencing other countries; try to do a coup in another country to show how that works and how you can support them during the civil war.I might even like to see the civil war mechanic in the players country; that is, do a coup in your own country, change their own government.
I'd really like to see more Japan. With an early war against America the situation looks very interesting. Also it'll finally give Daniel the ability to show of naval combat and "island hopping"-style warfare that should be very different from what we have seen in earlier WWW.
Definitely continue Japan. With only an hour a week (not nearly enough, sorry whatever stream comes after World War Wednesday, but HoI4 should have all 2 hours) I'd rather not start all over again until the war is over.
However if they were to have more time or insisted on starting as a new nation I'd vote for a minor so we could see how they play.
