If they did Japan and USA they should probably use the 1939 start, just so we don't have to wait too long for the Pacific showdown to happen.

They stream other games as well and they are primary game developers and not streamers. And soon they will probably begin streaming Stellaris as well. As far as regional powers go, they would be crushed by Germany if they tried it.
I want to see a Mushroom Cloud over Germany also..and what impact that has on the game. In other HOI's as I recall it wasn't really that big of a deal. Not that it would have ended wars with 1 or 2 bombs. I am sure it wold a lot of damage on units/infrastructure/cities
As long as they slow it down and stop playing at lightspeed I'll be happy. Why are they rushing so much on WWW? Let them pause and explain things, make theatres and divisions instead of 'draw a box around my whole army and advance'.
big national unity hit, kills troops and infrastructure and (all) factories in the area that gets hit as far as i understand it. i actually doubt even 3 bombs would end the war against germany. Whereas the UK is a much smaller area, so i could imagine herr daniel landing paratroopers after the bombs fall and with a few key cities could end the war.
that being said it requires 75% air superiority
also, i vote for Japan / US game. Emperor Daniel on Japan (yapan), President Johan on the US, and put a player on China. (thinking of a fourth nation that could be added into that is pretty hard though, maybe a minor like Australia or Canada, something in the rough area that can help slow daniel down).
Daniel gets a solid battle against china (that might be supported by US supplied arms) that will entertain viewers in the early game. gets to show off naval stuff and air stuff. Johan gets a slower pace to plan and produce a terrifying US and because hes not playing at the limits of his speed or anything in those early game years he can help explain things and has time to show things off a bit better.
After china falls (i have no illusions that any china could hold off emperor daniel's clickpocalypse), WW2 breaks out and daniel runs wild in the pacific until pearl harbour. Then we get a serious naval/air war which will end with the fall of japan, or the terms of peace being dictated in the white house![]()
By late 1945 the USA was starting to learn to build them. 6 in '45 and and 11 in '46. That's 15 bombs. Now Germany is building them too. 17 Bombs would be enough to level Germany. No Infra/No Industry and no National Unity??? Not sure what the UK could build in comparison or Germany. I am sure not nearly as much though both now have access to outside resources to build even more Bombs.
I would like to see the effects of the Bomb. National Unity in an extreme psycho nation like say Japan. Doesn't seem to be a game changer. Germany lost millions of people(far more than 15 bombs would kill) Now in Western Nations would it be different? Or would be an all or nothing mentality... For instance an option, National Unity in the Face of Nuclear Destruction? Mutual assured Destruction? We adopted such an ideology vs the Soviets during the Cold War and everyone bought into it and we were all willing to go the distance.
I think at least all of majors should be played by human players and maybe some other minors such as China. I think it is quite possible after we saw EU4 streams.
No point in ending a good match, Germany is done for. She can only hold onto what territory she has if... The United States is being passively played. There should be 400-500 USA Divisions in China sweeping through Siberia by 1945 or right though Western Europe. Since Germany has what 150 Protecting Divisions in The West at best available??? That's not going to hold with the UK, game over in 12 months
Johan and the US seem to be struggling to communicate with no chance to pause and only the in game text. so far all their co-ordinated invasions (Italy and Spain) have ended in loss, with Spain being a disaster that lost a million men. i don't think the ending is definitive because of this lack of co-ordination that has allowed Herr Daniel to keep repelling offensives
Except... Johan has himself lost a LOT of manpower in all his failed invasions and especially in Italy and the defence of the Middle East. In the last session he commented on the beginning of a manpower problem. He may be close to burning out himself - which would put most of the burden of liberating Europe on the shoulders of the USA. Quite fittingly historical.Agreed, it's more or less a one vs one... Or else the game should be lost for Germany. She definitely doesn't have as many divisions as the UK/USA combined and half her Army is too far away to come back to fight. Perfect time for a full on D-Day
