World War 2 History

Hi All,

I would like to learn about WW2 and the history revolving around it (I know very little). I think knowing the history would allow me to enjoy HOI even more when it is released.

I would prefer watching/listening to documentaries rather than reading it really captures my interest more.

Any recommendations?

I cannot agree more this series was one of the best I have seen on the war.

This is very good, and considered authoritative on the subject. I'm sure it'll all be on YouTube somewhere.

I would also highly recommend A.J.P. Taylor's 'The War Lords' lectures, which I watched online a few years ago. Particularly apt for us, as they focus on the leaders of the 7 major powers in HoI IV!
