Any idea why I didnt get the Poland gamble thing?

I did it in 20-23 days and with less than 25k losses (I had 6000 before the war and 29000 after).

At the time of that event your losses has to be 25K or less, otherwise you fail. Which means you have to avoid fighting French on borders (put there about 55 divisions and they wont attack).

This is my first post on these forums but I have been observing this topic specifically for a time now. I have experienced a bunch of issues before they had been reported on this thread which then subsequently were fixed but I have been just too lazy to report them myself.

I am using the newest version and the issue is that I am unable to load my saves. I am playing as Germany in the year 1940 and attacked Soviet Union in May. The autosave of August will load but the autosave of November will not. I found that there were 36 errors which were caused by invalid production IC cost values in the Soviet Union production queue. There were numerous militia and whatnot on the queue that had IC cost as 0. Unfortunately I didn't look too carefully what units they were because I was too eager to fix them to get back to my game so I just edited the value 0 to 0.1 and the game let me load the save.

The newest version, Churchill, has known issues and is on hold, ai update works on either. Use Barbarossa version.

I just found the event that adds militia and other units, the great patriotic war, and the units are added with a -0.1 cost, so nothing strange there. What is interesting is that if start a game with a land fort in the queue with 0.1 cost, and play that country, the cost is 5. What it is supposed to be. So you can't force low cost units. At least that is what i have seen.

I have edited that event and will add to next update. I will have to verify what i said above but i changed the cost to 1 for every unit listed in the event. It is an AI only part of the event, human players won't get it so i will have to play as Germ and see what happens.

why does it takes 6 weeks for foot inf to move from berlin to brest-litovsk border line. it takes mot 4 weeks to move from thessalonike to athens. something doesnt seems to be right?

Don't know, other then terrain and weather, I don't edit the speeds at all, should be same as DH.

Quick update on Great Pat. war event. If you change cost to 1 it stays at 1. However, by adding one command to add a unit, the ai makes a serial run of that unit. so 5 units X 6 runs will produce 30 units over time. I will edit so that there is 2 units of each type, inf, armor, moto.

Last test run, UK continued to try to amph. assault Rottenham and Amsterdam. Getting way crazy. checked ai switches and UK seemed to be stuck on invade Norway so i edited uK event Norway ignore.

UK invaded along albanian coast and the US followed. I would like US and UK to go into N. africa and then Italy. I will make adjustments.

Worked on German Italy conference for protecting Homeland. it does not seem to be firing. I made new event just for that decision.

Hi all,
thanks for the updates. Next version for the ai update may be within the week.

I have seen a couple of colonies declare independence but they were french. i will look about adding a colony file for UK.

Will look at ita. start and add a couple of div in Ethiopia.

Hey DrBob, would it be possible to use your AI-files on top of vanilla Darkest Hour Full?

Yes, I think it should be fine. I started working on some of the files for DH before i moved over to Wif2. I think i used all DH vanilla files for my wif2 updates.

thanks for the updates on Guyana and Jamaica. I will be adding garrisons to some nations and i will look at adding them to UK colonies. the first will be USA in Pearl harbor.

@ TremblingBlue, Don't know, WIF2 uses alot of DH files so unit stats are mostly the same. and ofcourse my AI update, I also toned down alot of the extra bonuses for ai Sov.
