Hi all, playing a great game on WIF2 mod with Portugal on the latest game and mod patches, and I just want to mention a lag problem that I haven't had to this extent in any other of the mods/versions I play. It is April 1944 and the lag time is extremely fast, with the game pausing for several seconds at a specific time (eg, every 13:00, or every 18:00) of every single day, that basically makes the game unplayable. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it something to be expected? I have a Toshiba Satellite i7 and Windows 7.

Best mod out either way at the moment, makes DH remain as appealing as ever.

Personally I have a lag (with WiF and Vanilla) if there is too much nations released, wich often happen in late game especially if the colonial empires crumble. If this number is reduced (I usually load as the master of the numerous puppets and diplo-annex+add claims), the lag disappear :)

There is one thing that looks a bit odd to me: In my game as the US, I gave Japan a few off-map resources and IC to make things more interesting. They did well enough in China, so that I gave them an event to annex China earlier (in 1939, I think), hoping that they'd swing towards producing ships et al for a Great Pacific War ... for some weird reason, though, they have one queue of 100 Destroyers, two convoys and that's it - they don't build anything else.

Had the same thing in a game with the Germans ... any idea why that'd be?

EDIT: Btw, they're not using it for supplies, but for consumer goods. They have enough supplies to fight a few months without producing some, no dissent and are drowning in money.

I thought a little earlier in this thread Fernando said he was removing the AI cheats for USSR? Did that ever make it to the patch/hotfix? USSR still seems to get a MASSIVE chain of events in Barbarossa that adds several thousand manpower and a few dozen free high IC divisions.

I've had to manually disable a good portion of that even chain, but I dislike doing that.

Small combat bug : SS infantry gets - 60 in desert combat.

I'm 3 weeks into barbarossa, and USSR has 22.000 MP, 40 fighters, 50 bombers. Ain't easy being a nazi...

Is there a way to switch off, what prevents me from bulding ports/airfields on islands where no troops are stationed/which are not supplied?

Haven´t found anything in the misc.txt (but maybe I didn´t look for the proper terms). However, you can avoid the effect by sending a sub to the island. After some days it will be supplied (even when there´s no port) and the island itself is in supply.

Brilliant! Thanks a lot. :)

Only those mods appear which are in the mods folder. I usually make a new folder and copy the DH Full into it, and apply the mod on it. For me it's simplier and faster (and more fail proof, what is good for me :D ) than copying it somewhere, renaming it, then copying it back to mods.
