I was waiting for feedback on the Eastern front before doing so. If there is a general consensus to say it's too harsh right now, I'll remove some of these cheats as you suggest.
Please let me know.
The eastern front is really hard. I think you could simulate the german surprise attack, giving an initial malus to soviet units simulating bad organization and the unexpected attack (so german can advance during the first month) and then giving a bonus in the following months (also adding new units behind the front line)

Yea I agree: IRL the Germans took the Soviets by complete surprise and was able to encircle huge armies with relative ease not to mention destroying the Red Air Force while mostly still on the ground...I def think there should be an event to replicate all this

Germany should only have a change to win the war in the summer of 41.
The german army was not adjusted to fight a long war against the Sovjets it was not even sure if Germany captured Moskou that Germany won the war
see Napoleon ... The Sovjets speak about summer germans and winter germans "strong and weak" so maybe make the german army very weak in the winter.

Yeah, thats true. But I didnt want to mention the tons auf divisions (I don't like this too), its more about the "tactic"-Events which gain additional bonuses for the SU if Germany captures cities like "Kiew", "Smolenks" etc.

FT, If you want I can write down an initial plan with ideas which are in my mind (although I have no idea about writing events in Hoi)?

Feel free to make suggestions on the Eastern front but to be honest, I would simply suggest to anyone who thinks it's too hard to lower the difficulty. Vanilla normal = WIF2 easy, bear that in mind.

About Eastern front:

When babarossa starts Germany should get an offensive cheet giving increase of maximal speed, organisation, morale, assault, ambush and which is maybe the most important thing encirclement
Soviet army should get a malus making them slower and having lower organisation to simulate German massive success on Eastern front until winter

General Winter should cause high losses on German side, decrease of morale helping the Russian to stabalize front and start a counter offensive.

Fall Blau should give Germany another offensive cheet, if you don´t crush the Russian bear, then there will be only a really small chance to win!
Please don´t give the soviet army interceptors, tactical bombers and so on. Only after a few weeks the russian air force was completely destroyed and never recovered from this

I didn't understand that at first.
You can't add a division by event with more than one brigade or with experience.
However, you can wake dormant divisions (these can have more than one brigade and experience)

Sounds great but..

..if you are able to crash more or less the whole sov. Army by encirclement or speed in 41 you will win as Germany nonetheless whats happening during the upcoming winter oder muddy spring..
Though if an offensive chits ends by special events like Germany reaches XYZ province in the SU you'll also need to check that the SU has enough troops left for fighting.

During my first test months ago (i.e. not the latest version), I totally destroyed the entire Soviet front, save ~30 units around Odessa. When the Soviet reinforcements arrived, I've been barely able to hold the front. I've stopped at this point, but I can assure you that I was not confident at all for 42. The T-34s were just killing me.

Maybe you could "lock" some divisions in moskow or in other cities and unlock them when germany attacks so that germans do not have to beat 24divisions stack per provinces at the border line. It's just an idea, don't know if it would unbalance other things...

If you go with something like this, better to have the event fire when I certain amount of provinces have been lost (ie when the Russian are in trouble, they then get the extra units) rather then just the outbreak of war.
