so i copy all the files (music mod, graphics mod, mod itself) into the wif2 folder in mods ?
Yes on mod and the music mod, however, the graphics pack goes into the DH folder. Sorry I had to go back and check on it.

Are you positive about this? If you don't put the graphics pack directly into the WiF2 folder, it feels like stuff is missing. For example, the German flag in the top left uses the Nazi Germany flag before Hitler is in power.

Are you positive about this? If you don't put the graphics pack directly into the WiF2 folder, it feels like stuff is missing. For example, the German flag in the top left uses the Nazi Germany flag before Hitler is in power.

Hi, Yes, the Graphics Pack has some files that go into the main Darkest Hour folder and then there are more files that go into the mods folder in the Darkest Hour full version folder.

I don't know about the German flag but there is a decision to change the flag.

Yes, precisely. I copy the graphics pack contents into both the mods/Darkest Hour Full and mods/World in Flames 2. That seems to fix any flag issues for me.

I understand your issue with the DL site for the graphics pack. I had to clean up a couple of things when i did it.

I don't know of another DL site for the Graphics pack. I tried to upload it to media fire but it takes to long to upload. I will post if I can get it to complete.

Hi, I don't think inf. upgrades to moto. I think it is saying that 35 ss moto is upgrading to 39 ss moto.

I can't figure out the install instructions for this mod (using steam version of game). The first post tells you what order to do things but doesn't tell you *where* to put the files. When I try to start the game, the taskmanager shows it is running but nothing happens on screen. I have tried installing all the component files multiple times but no luck. I finally got it to work by skipping the graphics and sound packs, so the problem is with one of those.

Sir, Always place a mod in the MOD folder, and the system will then allow you to see in in the drop down menu on the bottom right.

Drive letter:/darkesthour/mod/

245 divisions total, including allies. Approx 20 MOT and 20 ARM
So I've been trying to crack Barbarossa for the last few days, and I came pretty close once. I took Stalingrad, Leningrad, Baku, Moscow but the bitter peace never fired, and I found myself facing D-Day in 1942 while tied down against about 150+ Russian divisions in the Urals.

What I want to know is, what am I doing wrong? Is my Army Composition off? Is my planning suspect? Basically, I try to create two huge pockets using my army groups. Sometimes I can get a huge number of Russians that's actually doable, like 70 or so divisions, other times I'm capturing 200+ in the pockets combined and I have no hope of holding the pocket.

Should I aim for smaller scale encirclements along the entire front, bagging a dozen or so at a time instead of dozens?

For reference I also have 20 CAS and 20 INT, achieving air superiority isn't a huge problem if I can run down their airbases with my MOT inf.

Just another post asking about Barbarossa in a world filled with them...

northern sector can do a wide attack instead of concentrating on getting to wilno have them spread out atacking jelgava - daugavils -poltosk- mogilev - gomel - chernigov ( your way goes trough some marshlands) southern sector go to proskurov then zhitomir then kiev - split at vinitsa -uran - oddessa


your most southern army should be attacking kamenets podlsk not towardsoddessa

Here is my newest update Ver. 3.1. I was going to wait for the new wif 2 update but here it is.

I did DL the new version so I would just have to review the event files to see if there were any changes to the files i updated and update them. I could limit the first update to just the ai files and then do a full update later.
