there are non-agression-agreements but no "cease fire" option. Wars are total untill one side capitulates. For the diplomacy view you can actually watch the older World War Wednesday on Youtube on the Paradox Extra Channel. < Link.Devs, please show off the diplomacy view in the next world war wednesday! USA or URSS, full session of buildup
PS: my dream is you guys playing Spain to see civil war in action (poster of Civil War movie with Daniel's face instead of Captain America's maybe?), and then buildup until deciding if joining Axis, Allies or Comintern...
I'd like to see plenty of the things on that list. But extra special emphasis on not listening to the howler monkeys in the Twitch chat.It would be nice to see a non-axis member using anything else than infantry spam to fast-annex neighbours.
Things I guess we all would love to see:
- Aircraft carriers in action
- Massive subs campaign
- Strategic bombing
- CAS used in a big scale
- Real Armor army in action
- A real serious buildup for a big nation.
Basically listen more this forum than twitch crowd screaming "WAR WAR WAR"

So hungary took out germany in 1940 with garrison units. What is gonna be the fun in playing soviet, britain or US, if a small weak nation can steamroll The third reich. Why do we need airforce when they a not needed at all. Why have tec if it doesn't matter and you can stomp the a.i in a matter of month with a basic small army. Please stop making Hoi into a sandbox where everybody can win, its WWII and should reflect that in the power of the counties. You have Eu4 for taking a small nation and turn it into a big empire. Hoi should concentrate on operational scale warfare. But at the moment it's just a mess.
You have to remember that Germany was at war with Britain and France when Daniel cut through.
When the stream ended Germany was starting to regroup and push back Hungary as well.
