My idea would be to have the children of concubines subject to the same mechanism as bastards, so you can choose whether to legitimize them or not. I've tried a couple of things, and none of them have worked. I primarily play in HIP, which is why I'm asking in here, but if there's a better place to ask or more interest than just my own, I could move it.
My initial plan was to copy the bastard idea entirely, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Is there a better idea forward?
