Hi,
I just wanted to say that I do respect You guys for the price/dlc/etc policy that You use.
I do understand that there must be a strong push to monetize product but what You have been doing to this date I find honest.
Thank You.
Why:
1. No matter what version of pre-order I decide to buy the final product (gameplay wise) will be THE SAME.
Ok, some visuals may be different but that is it, I will not miss playable factions, items, campaigns etc.
2. When a major update comes out vanilla version is also being improved as much as possible.
3. Visuals etc being sold separately.
Why it matters so much to me. I like when company is doing business in a honest way. In my country average wage (monthly!) is around 340 - 560 euros so we do value our money and think before we spend it.
That`s why I have decided to pre-order Your game and not to wait for some big sale in a year or so.
I simply don't feel afraid that I will be tricked into semi product.
FYI. Here are some examples of companies gone rouge:
- Civ V - I don't mind to pay for big expansions like "gods and kings" but being forced to pay for separate map packs or COUNTRIES is evil, same if they introduce some countries in the expansion yet not provide update for vanilla version!
- Total war series - they suck deeeeep! Locking off factions just to sale them in pre-order dlc is so stupid that I have stooped to buy their games completely!
I don't want to pay extra just to have some faction available!
#respect
Good Luck!
