Gratz to the people who wanted a new German flag. As long as we're considering flag changes, could we also get a new flag for Italy? The current flag is ugly and was only in use when Italy was a Napoleonic vassal state. If Italy ever forms in game, it is likely to be under its own power rather than as a foreign puppet and would thus have a different flag.

WELL... if we did want to be historical haha France should be 1 Mil tech ahead of everyone else due being battle hardened after the HYW and one of two nations with a permanent Standing Army (The other was the Ottomans). But yeah hes definitely joking about the Mil tech 10 haha.

Good to see Montferrat, I would have been OK with that province being owned directly by Savoy but the map setup as seen in the teasers / MP game made no sense.
Seconding the request for a different Italy flag, mostly because I really want them to rework that decision so that republics can form Italy without becoming a kingdom, but they might as well fix it 'properly' while they're there.

I understand Wiz is trying to be funny but if you say everything in sarcastic tone, then people don't know if you are still joking or not. Will Germany get a new flag? I have no idea, France mil 10 is obviously a "joke" but the others? Don't overdo your puns Wiz or they stop being funny tbh.

Change technology level to start first campaign at 14c, so western europe tech including France gets 10 tech level at 1444.
But it is impossible, I think.
Still in use today, with republic rogo instead of the eagle.
Wait, that is not the same flag? Wiki-link shows an eagle, this one a star and has a blue border?_?

I think he was suggesting that the "Napoleonic Flag" was not strictly and permanently a symbol of the Napoleonic state as the basic elements of it are in use today. It's actually the flag for the president:

And it is indeed intentionally based on the former Napoleonic flag. Still, that does seem to be its FIRST use...
At least the Napoleonic flag actually saw air time during the game's time period. I don't see the huge problem. Of course, since form Italy requires things like Florence and Rome, it's clearly not the same state, but oh well.
Also, as a native Pennsylvanian and a big fan of Ben Franklin, I, for one, liked the turkey and am disappointed to see it go!
