Wiz has just cleared the rest of his schedule for the day to deal with this pressing issue.
Can't reproduce on my end, there's no big red box in the province interface.

Well... that's still 104 years after the fall of the empire, isn't it?Thats false. First usage of this term predates back to 1557 from Hieronymus Wolf, and got quite popular in second half of XVII cent.
(note: I'm not arguing that it's a correct name, just pointing out the fact, that this term was in fact used during EU4 timeline).

I'm not discussing the name of the culture (if it was replacing it with several other cultures, it would be different). Sorry, but that's something that i have no interest what so ever. The term still existed in the EU timeframe which is what was discussed here. Contrary to "cosmopolitain" which started to appear towards the end of the XIXth century (and is actually a bad form of the adjective "cosmopolite" which was coined in the XVIIth century).

Hi, Mr Wiz
I updated the first post with detailed step to reproduce the issue (which is not related to the big red box) and suggested fix
Hope that helps,
Best Regards,
Darkath.
Silly Wiz, you were supposed to click on ParisI tried to follow your STR and clicked Toulouse but I don't see any 'Cosmopolitaine' culture so I guess it's fixed on my end!

I'm just saying that the name "Byzantine Empire" is a bad example, because that name was given well after the fall of Constantinople.
The word didn't even exist in the EU era.
Neither did "Byzantine", yet we have a whole empire named after it...

He wants to say its fixed with the next patch, won't he? Of course this is DLC only content, and it will just be enabled by a tick in the Options, and we will be punished by a dev Diary in which is explained why Cosmopolitaine is perfectly correct.I tried to follow your STR and clicked Toulouse but I don't see any 'Cosmopolitaine' culture so I guess it's fixed on my end!
