Has anyone had one of these Hindu religion events? I'm not sure what they are about as they have a very bad negative and the other option is like +2 prestige. Is there a hidden bonus I'm not seeing?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
After the contemplation is over you'll get a very nice +Stability event (~40 gold for +1 Stability). This was with Ganesha as the preferred deity.
Edit: Also after coming out of contemplation, the monarch will get a bonus to one of the traits ADM/DIP/MIL and some prestige.
