With regards to this mod, is it worth buying Way of Life?

While the DLC adds a lot to the game, I've noticed on the main forums a lot of problems with every NPC going crazy with choices especially seduction. To put it in a more humorous way, one user suggested renaming the DLC Cuckolded Kings 2: Slut Wars.

I've stopped playing vanilla CK2 after a month of the game coming out and I only play the game with mods such as HIP. I've noticed in the HIP patch notes that there were some 'tuning' done to reduce the spam of the WoL events but I am still sceptical of me putting my money down to buy this DLC if it causes more trouble than give benefits.

What do you HIP mod users think? Any opinions will be appreciated.

The creator of VIET, cybrxkhan has released a separate mod, Stop the Orgy Please, that can be found on his signature.

If you use EMF, (in the default install of HIP), it should also be fixed. I recommend you use the rest of HIP, its a great mod

I like it. It definitely requires getting used to it, but once you retrain your fingers / UI expectations, it's more elegant. It doesn't require closing your current window to do diplomacy. I was always a fan of the "right-click menu" for diplomacy quick-links, but this is more elegant, extensible, and fewer clicks.

RE: STOP (Stop The Orgy, Please!), yes, EMF has nerfed (mostly) AI seduction even more significantly than STOP but incorporates STOP's rules too.

Stop the Orgy, Please! was just a little thing I did myself and released as a mini-mod when some users requested it; EMF's nerfs to seduction are more comprehensive, so if you intend to use most or all of HIP you'll be in good hands with EMF's nerfs. The seduction silliness was really the only major issue I had with WoL (just the DLC, ignoring the patch), so otherwise I think WoL is worth the money.

And within 2 days, Paradox releases a patch fixing the mass seduction of everyone in the world. Hah. As I understand it, there'll be an update of HIP for 2.3.2 this weekend.
