I want to buy a game, which is Cities: Skylines, it's a game to create cities, I have watched their requirements page where I'm going to buy me strange G2A but your graphic card for this game. How could my graphics card?

Graphics Card: GeForce GT 640
CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.30 GHz
Memory: 8,00GB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional.

Puts all the sites that need a GTX 260, while I have a GT 640. I have looked elsewhere and tell me I can play perfectly, but do not trust me, I prefer to ask the experts.

Thanks for the help

Welcome to the forum

It's a bit difficult to say, there are five different version of the gpu. I think all of then will run the game, but can you give some more information about tour gpu? Run dxdiag or open the nvidia control center and see if you can find some more information.

Problem with card numbers ending in less than '50' is that usually some models with less than stellar memory speeds are put on market. Sometimes crippled all the way to 64-bit bandwidth.

If you can put up the specific card model it would be easier to guesstimate.

Your other components are good enough, GPU is the weakest link.

If you don't mind the low FPS you should be able to play regardless, the card should be able to render it, even at slideshow speeds.

Does not match anything on Google, can't identify device from that.

If you know the exact maker and model besides 'Geforce 640' it would be great.

Looking at Nvidia's website, there are a bunch of 640 models:

64 bits/128 bits/192 bits

384 cores/144 cores

DDR3/DDR5

with VRAM going between 1/1.5/2/3 GB and speeds of 28/40/80 Gbps

So there's a lot of range here.

I'd estimate your game will run between 5 and 15 FPS tops.

The hardware IS capable of running the game, no doubt, but performance won't be stellar.
