Okay, so I realize that coordinated warfare has never been a strong point of Paradox's games (can't wait for the new army attachment optioncoming in the next Victoria 2 patch!), but I'm wondering if I'm missing something in CK2.
I'm playing one of the kings of Spain from the 1066 start. Brothers from the Jimena dynasty are basically the kings of Leon, Castille, Navarra, Portugal, and so forth. We're all allied and occasionally, one of them will put out a call to arms to eat up a little Muslim province. I gladly chip in and do what I can to accommodate my brothers. For the most part, we get along.
But then one of the larger Muslim "duchies" declares war on me. So I muster troops and call up my brothers. They agree to help and then send armies that hang back in my duchy while the Muslim army lays siege to one of my vassals. We totally have them outnumbered together, but my army isn't big enough to do anything about it without their help. Is this working as intended? Do they not like me enough to sally forth more boldly? Will they not help my vassal?
