This is a minor request, but I'd like to be able to see my own characters opinion of others, in the same way that I can see their opinion of my own character. It's not really a big issue, but it makes it a bit quicker to tell how I "should" be treating other characters :) .

They are possible only for kingdomes and empires so far i know.

IF there is a 3rd province slot and you build a castle (won't let you build anything else) for 700 gold then that castle becomes the county capital... tried it in my Ireland demo game

IF there are 2 or less county slots... well then SOL :)

Being able to form your own kingdom.

Gain independence from your liege and go it alone! It will probably better done by a mod

You can declare independence, just declare war on your liege for independence.

There has to be more transparency in why wars end inconclusively. I am sure whatever happened is legit, according to the game mechanics but I really need to know what happened. I finally got a claim, was dominating the dojo in the war against the other Duke and *BOOM* war is over with no reason at all as to why.

I posted alot of bugs and suggested a few nerfs to religious Invasion CBs and perhaps lower willingness to intermarry across religious lines...

But I think the one thing thatll stand out quick is how claims become ubiquitous after the first generation or two. I cant walk the dog without running into three guys with a claim on my neighbor's duchies.

CBs for titles you do not own should be much more difficult to inherit and claims that aren't pressed should expire after a couple decades at most. In my game its 100 years after the start date and there's 6 pages of courtiers with claims to the Byzantine throne.

I feel like that's relatively realistic- there were COUNTLESS people with claims to being the Emperor of Rome, and countless murders and assassinations that placed them on the throne.

Fine, how about 3 pages of claimants to the Duchy of Lesser Poland? :p

In game terms it makes claims trivial... You not only can claim anything, you can cherry-pick claimants to get a good vassal out of it.

The "I'll give him a claim on his rival's titles' event choice should be moved from A to C, I think that would cut down on the craziness a bit for lower titles.

I'd like to see:

- More plot options
- The ability to choose the person you are plotting to kill
- A shortcut portrait to the people you can plot against to make it easier to find them.
- A mechanic which makes assassination less frequent (ideally a much lower base chance that could be increased slowly over time by basing a spymaster in the county),
- Tone down matrilineal marriages so that they are only practical for landed women to use (to avoid expoit using matrilineal marriages to your female courtiers).
- Adjust realm tree view to have option not to show minor vassals (barons etc) to avoid clutter on this screen.

Though I must say that generally the demo looks very polished - and is fantastic fun!

- A more reasonable way for random courtiers to pick plots, or just exclude them from plotting in general, reserving it to people with a certain amount of power. Uncovering that <random lady of the court you never heard of> wants to murder your son gets old fast.

+ over 9000 on more plots... it's so boring that once you've finished one 'life time' plot (wealth/piety/prestige), one assassination, you'll only get the plot to kill your own wife.

Of course it's difficult to balance, if you can keep on assassinating via plots for inheritance non stop, the game turns way too easy.

Fix the different events that go wrong. Especially the Golden Horde being given to the player is a gamebreaker. The one where you expose an assassin and get all the penalties yourself is also pretty bad.
