Better Wargoals! If i will take Neuchatel for Prussia, i can only became the whole state of wester swiss. But I will have ONLY Neuchatel, because that realistic. I have only cores in Neuchatel, also the war is for Neuchatel and not for the whoule western swiss. Thiss is a very bad border, when i have all of western swiss in my state.

That enemy retreating troops will not retreat to provinces I control, it makes absolutely no sense in a wwI trench warfare like situation.

Something for Japan to make Shinto stay around- maybe an event like "Shinbutsu Bunri" firing after Meiji Restoration or something- I know it's just a flavor thing but it seems weird watching all of my pops become Mahayana... But there are already many strange goings on with assimilation (disappearing Jews, European pops converting into Afro-Americans...).

-Scaled military score for Westernization? Trying to make Sikkim get 50 mil is a little ridiculous, but for China it's done before you even start playing.

-Selling provinces!

-The ability to rename regions and provinces like in EU3 (Why oh why can't I have "Kanto" instead of "Edo Region"?)

-Ability to do things by province instead of by state- I'm looking at you, war demands and colonization!

I think the warscore is ok. It stops the silly little minor powers from civilizing, unless they can get lots of military tech and officers to boost their score. To be 'westernised' really means 'to be considered westernized by the eruropean powers', and they are more likely to do that for a country with a strong army.

That being said, I think the way military score is calculated needs to be changed - military techs should scale the score, rather than just providing some bonus points. A large but technologically backward country like China should not be considered so powerful.

This is not strange at all. After you research "futuristic entertainment technology" and the television invention fires, you may get the "MTV Hip Hop Music 24/7??" decision. Depending on your decision, Gangsta Rap may become a priority issue for 50% of your population, conversion to Afro-American goes through the roof, while "East Coast" and "West Coast" are added as accepted cultures :D

I don't know, I figure if some liverpudlian in a pith helmet is wandering around northern India, enslaving locals and planting flags, and suddenly comes upon a dark-skinned fellow with a top hat, monocle, and waxed handlebar mustache offering tea, he's not going to try to conquer him, he'll ask if he wants to split the neighboring provinces fifty-fifty. By the logic that only a "large army" makes a country civilized, half of Italy would be considered a barbarian wasteland, even if all of them had doctorates and laser rifles. I think it's more realistic that the requirements for civilization should be dependent on how large the country is- either by provinces or POPs.

1.) Make the Immigration NF more useful. I haven't been able to see any useful effect from it.

2.) Allow states to be taken and made colonies. This will help fix the issue now where Oregon and Washington attract far more people than the states the USA takes from Mexico.

3.) The American Southwest should probably start as colonial states of Mexico. (Alternative to #2).

4.) Rebel Sentiments event should not probably fire for slave states taken outside of North America. I took regions from Siam and Dai Nam as USA, and they got CSA cores and called American CSA on the map.

5.) Ottomans may need a buff. With the current mobilization rules, they can't mobilize worth squat. Maybe add some accepted cultures or add some related events to add/remove Balkan cultures as accepted?

6.) Ammunition should be more prominent.

7.) Rollback the change that units use their attack or defense rating based on whether they attacked or defended, or rebalance the tech trees and artillery to compensate.

8.) Spread out the pluralism bonuses from Ideological Thought inventions to other techs in the tech tree, or add some harsher prerequisites.

9.) Supply consumption should increase for armies not standing in a friendly state (thus, increased costs to defend colonies).

10.) Cavalry should be able to be built without tech, or an Irr. Cavalry unit should be added to compensate. It seems stupid that many nations can't stick an idiot on a horse and send them somewhere, given that has been military tradition for millennia.

11.) When a nation sends you a peace offer, list the prestige or militancy hit associated with accepting. Also, call out what war goals are not being offered. Wars with lots of war goals can lead to confusing peace offers.

12.) Austria and Prussia never seem to go after each other for Hegemony wars - this seems to have unbalanced Central Europe.

I would like that the cores that Chile doesn't own in the Pacific coast were in a state that, when conquered by Chile, doesn't make a weird non-historical borders. Perhaps the coastal provinces of Potosí could be an state with the northen Chilenean provinces and the Southern Peruvian provinces, and the non coastal provinces of Potosí could be part of Santa Fe.

Other thing, the states of Santa Fe and La Paz in Bolivia has same colour in regional view of the map, would be cool with diferent colours.

I would like to see Central America fall apart as in History. I know that strats with 9 MIL in its POPs, but doesn't looks enough.

I wold like to see that nation with geographical names can chance it in a limited manner. This is because I am playing as South Africa but I have conquered half of Africa plus Oman and Yemen and when I go for the northern part of Africa then the name "South Africa" is kinda wrong

Perhaps starting with organisez rebel nationalist factions should help CA in falling apart more often.

Btw, connecting with what you say but not with the subjet of the thread, I have no idea of how to provoke revolution in my country. 100% taxes and tariffs doesn't look enough at all.

This would probably fit an expansion better, but: Use of soldier pops as crews for ships. This would allow them to rebel, join the CSA, and limit the number of navies to a more reasonable amount. And also limit the amount of Brittish soldiers running around.

I believe the life needs for bureaucrats should be raised, a lot. In my current game as NGF I soon had almost 3% bureaucrats and to get that number down I had to put funding to zero. At 1% funding for administration (that is like 1£ a day) every single bureaucrat had at least life needs partly fulfilled. Some even had luxury goods. And that was at 1%. No wonder they breed like rabbits when many of them can live like kings with almost no funding at all.

Allow formation of Gran Colombia.

Better graphs -- the current commodity price graph would be really useful if you could adjust the data period to view price movements over more than 2-3 months. It would also be neat to have graphs of country scores, like in HTTT.

A literacy map overlay would also be very nice.

I agree with all those who say that assimilation is a bit screwy. There's got to be some mechanism under which local cultures in colonies (or colonies that become states) resist assimilation better than immigrants.
