WIP Crusaders of Faerûn Mod

By the way, how do you connect the Underdark's and the surface's provinces? Can adlacencies be defined between non-contiguous provinces over other land provinces?

I've tried putting "bi-located provinces", i.e. a province which spans two separated spots of the map, but the AI armies seemed to behave erratically after that (or more erratically than usual,anyway). Have you noticed anything like that?

I can definitely help out with lore and such, especially with helping out finding out what cultures should be present, appropriate names for regions, de jure kingdoms, counties, baronies, Underdark etc. as I've got all the FR books, but I'd really prefer to communicate through Skype if possible do any of you have it per chance?

Well, you might beat us to it, it depends on how much help we get onboard

As for the adjacencies - I haven't tested it yet, but I see no reason why I can't have the tunnel provinces end in a tiny river or ocean, and then have the adjacency go from the tunnel, through the body of water, to another province somewhere on the surface. If that doesn't work, I'll have to call in some help to get it working though...

Thats exactly what we need, someone to come up with names and such and populate the map, since I'm terribly unoriginal with such things I'll send you a PM with my skype details, we do have a devchat that recently got going.

Bumping the thread to get more help onboard again.

We could really use someone to make characters, for example, and their families.

The whole map needs different ones, so it's fine if you just want to do one region, like Cormyr or Menzoberranzan or whatever.

Character making is extremely easy, and I can show anyone how to do it in 5 minutes so not being able to mod is no excuse

Awesome! Were you also part of the Warhammer modding effort, or just the MP games?

And yes, Menzo is also one of my favorites, it seems like a good as place as any to get started, especially since there is so much information on the characters there.

I m not sure actually, last time we were waiting for Horselords and expanding the map eastwards, but I no longer have all the modding time I used to have... Enoofu, you still around?

It s a shame if it is, the map is gorgeous and almost complete.

It just requires a dedicated team to fill in characters and make events and such

Nice work on portraits, as well. Would personally want a more extensive browse.

Unfortunately, despite being addicted to D&D 3.5, I have nearly no knowledge of Faerûn ("Lords of Waterdeep" boardgame excluded).
Do not be disheartened by the prospect of being a one man mod team!
