Winning the English Conquest as Svend of Danemark : possible ?

In the achievements.txt we can see this :

=== Medium - 50 points ===
* On English Neck a Norman Yoke - Start on September 15, 1066 as William the Bastard and conquer the Kingdom of England.

=== Hard - 75 points ===
* Hard Ruler - Start on September 15, 1066 as Harald of Norway and become King of England.

=== Very Hard - 100 points ===
* The Outside Bet - Start on September 15, 1066 as Svend II of Denmark and become King of England.


After a long game in Hispania & Italy, I decided to go North. Danemark it was. My first idea was to create the Scandinavia Empire. Then I see I have a strong claim on the Kingdom of England and I remembered about the achievements.txt

Is that even possible to win ? Norway has 9k troops, England 8.5k, and William has got 12k. I have only 2k.
I can make many alliances (I have 15 children, all of them legitimed bastards, at the start). I can even marry myself or my heir to Matilda wub to get her troops. I don't know if this could work.

What do you think guys ?

Recently did it in my current game but I invaded England instead of just claiming it, I actually invaded after norway had won england in their initial invasion, France + HRE as allies is quite a force to be reckoned with and they are the main reason I won the invasion.

All three rulers lose their mini doomstacks soon after peace is achieved. They also tend to wear down the levies heavily if the fight lingers on, and if you stick a good distance from the three armies, you can do opportunistic sieges, which you'll still hold once they win.

I've done it a couple of times. In one instance I joined in after they had been duking it out for over a year. Everyone was pretty much exhausted, so i jumped in, killed William in battle, caught Harald Hardradas heir (which had no effect what-so-ever) executed him, and then hunted down the last of Haralds forces. He ended up dying in battle as well.

Harold Godwinson then gave up and I became the, very disputed, ruler of England.

Its easy if you start the game when William is on the throne. I've done it a few times on that bookmark because I love playing as the Danes and owning William. You just need some good alliances like France and Norway (if you start after William wins).
