Winning siege triggers white peace?

Winning a siege triggered a white peace for nonprosecution, and I cannot begin to understand why.

I'm not sure if that save adequately demonstrates the issue. Here's one from a few days earlier. When I win the siege of Thyreai, it triggers a white piece with Lepreon and its allies, a war I'm winning handily.

It is completely deflating to have the game just suddenly implode for no reason. If this is not a bug, please make it make sense.

This constantly happens to be, I've got it recored on streams several times.

When sieging down vassal of overloard, the white peace event triggers, saying can't have a war without violence.

If one of your opponents was also involved in a civil war, it is likely this (widespread) issue confirmed, e.g. here:

I've had this problem when no civil wars have been involved aswell.

Yes, it's due to a civil war -- as seen again in the attached save, involving a different war later in the same play-through. It is a gamebreaking disaster. What gives?

It's happening in my game too. Reloaded multiple times and every time I siege down Ambracia I get the "can't have war without violence" pop-up. Ambracia does have a civil war so it may be that as someone has said.
