Winged Hussars Achievement possible with outdated units?

Winged Hussars - Have Winged Hussars as your active unit with more than +50% cavalry combat ability

Will you get the achievement, when you only get the 50+ combat ability with the last idea and switch back to Winged Hussars (by "show outdated units")?

I'm playing a Poland game for the achievements. You get Winged Hussars with tech 22. I'm only at 43 combat ability at the moment and still need the 10% from Quality. I planned on getting it with the idea group that gets unlocked at admin 22 (Hussars at mil 22). But I would prefer to take Trade first. My armies are strong enough but I could use some money and with only 2 merchants a lot of my trade gets steered away from me by other countries. Can I take Quality later and switch back to Winged Hussars, even when I had Lancers and more advanced units before? I know that I can switch back with "show outdated units" but will it work for the achievement?

Yes, it doesn't matter if there are better units available, so long as you have the winged hussars selected.

Thanks. I will take Quantity as last idea then. Trade is more important at the moment.
