Windows 7 AoW - Seemingly Random Crashes every 20 minutes or so.

My game keeps randomly crashing for every 10-20 minutes or so that I play. I can't seem to find the problem. I've tried installing the hotfix, turning off ironman, disabling the steam overlay in my game, and I've tried playing as multiple different nations. I've also tried verifying the game cache and uninstalling and reinstalling EU4. Still no dice. Any ideas?

Is it that it didn't used to crash before 1.8, or what?

Didn't get your settings.txt - are you using any mods?

Is the crash just happening in one particular save file, or even if you start a new fresh game?

Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 20 minutes' play. If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install
