Hello. I took a short break from EU4 and I have now decided to play again. However, when I tried to launch the game on my laptop, the launcher said: "Launching the game failed". I tried to follow a couple of guides to try and make it work again, but so far I have not succeeded. I tried to uninstall the game, uninstalling the Paradox launcher, verifying files and removing all my EU4 files (except for my current Prussia game, which I moved to a different folder). I tried to run eu4.exe directly, but I get the following System Error messages: "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." and "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUMTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
I own EU4 on steam and my other Paradox games on my laptop run fine (Stellaris, Vicky 2). The Launcher version is 2020.16.
