Windowed Help!

I have Doomsday, patched all the way, but when I use the WINDOWED command on a shortcut, it runs, but after the paradox video, shows that the video cannot be initialized.
Then it shuts down and crashes.
Help?

Try renaming the avi folder to avi.old to skip the entire opening movie.

Sorry I don't know much about the Windowed mode.

Don't get your hopes up, whenever I try to play in windowed mode, it crashes, whether it's Ederon's mod, or a windowed shortcut that comes with a mod like TRP.

Change to 16 bit colour, not 32 bit.

Right click on a empty space on your desktop.

Then click properties, then go across the tabs until where you see it says "32 bit colour".

Change it.
