Windowed EU2?

Is it possible to play EU2 in a reduced-size window - i.e. with the desktop still visible? Display is 1024x768, 32bit color.

Display is 1024x768, 32bit color.

Note that you'll need to change to 16-bit color to do this and the game doesn't look as good in 800x600 resolution. Windowed mode makes a lot more sense if you have a display larger than 1280x1024.

It's very useful, alt-tab is a decent solution, but not good enough.

Different people use it for different purposes. e.g. if you have a big enough desktop, you can keep one of the FAQ docs open while you're playing and use the info without needing to alt-tab. Or if you have a high-resolution LCD display you may want to avoid the image distortion that happens when stretching an image on an LCD. I believe some people have posted that they like it because on low-end hardware the mouse moves more smoothly in windowed mode.

Well, I have two screens and want to either

a) efficiently and effectivly mod the game
b) do other shit while playing
