I seem to recall a command we could put in the command line to Window the game. Is it still around?

You mean windowed mode? You can choose it from the launcher, to the right (you need 16-bit desktop color)
Not that window--true windows, where you can minimize it at will. I seem to recall that at least on one of the PI games, in the command line for launching the game we could say something like "windows" and it worked.
