[Win8 GG] Backtracking to TOG?

Hi guys,

Due to the problems I'm having with my current game in 2.0 (as explained in an other thread) I'd like to backtrack to the TOG version. Unfortunately I messed up my backup. Anybody knows if there's a way to reinstall an older version from GG?

Just install the base game (usually 1.06b) or copy an older folder, if you got one and patch it accordingly with one of the patches (in this case i guess 1.111) from this thread: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...-Manual-Download-Links-for-GamersGate-Patches

Of course... Thanks. I had forgotten the base game did not come patched to the last version.

Enjoy as long as it's still possible.
Well maybe the GG to Steam move won't happen, but i doubt it.
Though it seems they will always offer the last patch or alike through the beta option in Steam. Whatever.....
Better keep the patches you want on your HDD. I doubt we will still be able to get them if the GG to Steam move will happen.
