Hello.
I have a three-monitor/screen setup on my PC, where I have a "primary" screen (a 16:9 monitor - DVI port), a "secondary" screen (a 5:4 monitor (VGA port) that's mainly for keeping my eyes on thunderbird while doing stuff on my main monitor) and my TV (16:9) is connected via HDMI but mostly offline. It's there to watch videos on the TV as opposed the monitor.
[Win8/64 - Steam Pre-Order]
Whenever I start EUIV in a resoultion that's below 1920*1080 (it's just too laggy for me there. The clouds and water, coupled with the constant saving, make it unplayable), it starts on the secondary screen. And I have no option to change it in any way. And playing a 720p resolution on a 5:4 screen is just... Not optimal. :-/
I know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution included a very nice screen-resoultion window before the game started where I could specify where the game should be opened.
Is there a way to force EUIV to always open on my main screen? Either via the settings file or perhaps via an upcoming patch? It would be very much appreciated.
It's frustrating that so many games still have such problems with multi-screens set-ups even though they aren't that uncommon. And I'd think that the Paradox graphics/design people would also have a few two or three screen set-ups.
I'd like to perhaps also suggest to make the Deus Ex:Human Revolution and Skyrim style "set the options/configure your settings" screen included in the launcher, and have it involve more settings/options in an "advanced" tab. Starting the game, setting some options and then re-starting the game again is kind of tedious. Especially with the slightly long loading times. The launcher is already there, so make it useful in yet another way.
Thank you for your time.
