[Win7 64bit][NMI] Game Freezing

The game freezes whenever i select any of my armies (im playing as Sweden in 1460 if that means anything). Any help or ideas?

Thanks IcratoX. It is not the same. And im realizing now that my freezes are completely random. Ive tried running it without steam, ive reinstalled several times, and my video cards are all up to date. I've also verified the game cache. Has this problem been reported? It's frustrating because I had a similair problem with vicky 2

The games stops working or you can't move the army?

completely stops working i have to restart my computer because everything is frozen.

Could you please post a DxDiag of your system?

Open your Start menu
Type "dxdiag" in the search field (without quotes).
Open the dxdiag program.
A window called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should pop up now.
At the bottom right-hand side, click on "Save all information".
Save it to a place where you can find it easily, for example your desktop.
Open the file and copy and paste the text between [NOPARSE]

You can remove quite a bit of the last part of the DxDiag so it'd fit within the character limit. Try deleting everything under Directshow filters and below.
