Because last year I made a pilgrimage to Stockholm and I even visited the high tech building, but it was a national holiday, so I never got to visit (I asked before I came though.) Ever since then I've been looking for an opportunity to get back to lovely Sweden, and see the Canada of Europe again.
Also, I promise not to make the joke the all of Sweden sounds like a giant Spotify commercial. At least not too many times.

Since I live in Hawaii and the weather here in February will probably be 80 degrees and sunny throughout February it is probably hard to imagine my wanting to go to Sweden in winter. But it would certainly be the experience of a lifetime for this old guy and I would love to attend.
I think first and foremost selecting me would give you a chance to watch someone who has not lived in cold weather in over 40 years freeze in the dim winter days of Sweden.
I am a real fan of the HOI games and really would love the chance to see the people responsible for an incredible game and thank them personally for their work.
It is clear Paradox is a company dedicated to their fans and I can't thank you enough for just the opportunity to be considered.

you should pick me because i went to usa for three months from macedonia (europe) just so i could work there for three months and buy all your games otherwise unaffordable for me and i love sweden and have been dying to come there i could provide thousands of other reasons such as will to met the team of my favorite games (only games exept skyrim) and in march the European Union might decide removing the visa free travel from my country so this might be the only chanche to get out and travel out of my country to europe with ease , plus i never conquered sweden in any of paradox games lol pick me pls

Because the raptors I'm keeping in my bathroom are starting to work out how to turn the door handle, and I need to get somewhere where they can't find me. And I suspect Raptors can't swim the channel.

Well, there are a few reasons you could choose to pick me:
- I'm in the Air National Guard in the US. How many people who are currently in the military, but only in it part-time enough to still be able to go have spoken up? Also, thanks to the military, I have this awesome parka that will keep me plenty warm if I visit.
- I'm from Minnesota. I've been outside when the wind chill was -30°F, so I'll definitely be right at home in wintery landscapes. I also have some Swedish ancestry; although, it's a bit far back, and most people in my state could probably say the same.
- I love your games! The first Paradox title I ever played was Mount&Blade. I discovered after Fallout 3 taught me what a sandbox game was, and I went searching on Wikipedia for any games labelled as such. I then spend probably over a thousand hours playing M&B while I was stuck in Mississippi for military training. From there, I got Warband when it came out, and it was even better. I also thoroughly enjoyed M&B:with Fire and Sword. Then Steam had the "Paradox Pack" on sale for around $76, and I got it. I know the M&B games were by Taleworlds, but I figured if you guys helped put out such great games, you in-house stuff could only be better. So then I started playing Victoria 2, as I had a friend who played it non-stop. From there I went to EU3, and then finally arrived at my current obsession: Crusader Kings II. The first week after I found it, I worked for 35 hours and played CK2 for 70. It is now my go-to game to just pour time into. I am currently working on a mod for pagans to be more fun to play, but I haven't got much done thus far.
So in summation: I'm a unique candidate, I'll be perfectly happy with the climate, and your games are my drug of choice. But honestly, many of the people who've posted before me are more deserving. I would love to go, but depending on how many people you're going to invite, I would much rather see some of the others go.

You should pick me because I am of Swedish stock but have never been to the land of my ancestors and this would give me an excuse to do so.

I believe I should be picked as I'd spend a lot of time trying to get the crowd to chant "We want more Victoria 2 expansions" over and over again. That and nothing can go wrong when I already live relatively close to the place.

I've been playing paradox games ever since Crusader Kings Deus Vult, and I've been following EU franchise ever since EU II was released! I also participated in beta testing for Magna Mundi the game, beta testing for Hearts of Iron TCG, and Warlock: Master of the Arcane! I'd love to meet you guys in person, and since I'm coming from Southern Europe (Bosnia&Herzegovina) that would be quite a nice trip to the North! I want to experience Scandinavia during winter! (Call me crazy or whatever )
