I should win a copy of Victoria 2 because I've been dreaming for this game since I got Victoria 1 in 2006 and when Victoria 2 was released, my parents didn't agree to order the game form Sweden. They said that as long a romanian shop isn't storing the game, I will not buy it...
I submit the following evidence of my worthiness at receiving a copy of Victoria 2. My proudest achievement in a Paradox game:

I love playing as minors in historical games and seeing how far I can make them rise. Allow me to take control of Krakow, Zulu or even Hawaii so I can see what I can do!

Well I must admit, giving reasons for why one should win a game is hard, since I'm not in marketing or sales or in general I'm not that good at [self-]promotion.
Also, I was reading through the thread -- checking out the competition, as it were! -- and FmrPFCBob, safferli, Will Lucky... wow, so many already have such good and witty arguments here. I love the Paradox forums, where you can find actual intelligence! Not the usual internet trolling, phew
Okay, my reason:
I am currently enrolled in a graduate program and (as one can imagine) the stipend is not enough to afford me the luxury of buying very many games. Last year all my friends were telling me "you have to buy Dragon Age!", but even though I loved the Baldur's Gate series I had to buy HOI3 instead! When all my friends recently went to pick up Starcraft II, I was saving my money for Semper Fi! Each time I leave for the bars with friends, I think of each drink I buy as an extra week before I can get the next expansion I need from Paradox.
My friends are intelligent people too, and honestly I cannot understand why they don't love these games as much as I do. Then we can just have gigantic, epic multiplayer battles in HOI3 and EU3 and maybe even V2 instead of the usual affair with Age of Empires 2, which is somehow the only game that all my friends own :rofl:
But... c'est la vie! Until they discover the glory of Paradox Entertainment and the quality and depth in their games, I can only hope for a free game so that I can have my cake (visit the bars with my friends, as usual) and eat it too (sneak out early to enjoy a relaxing night with V2)!
edit: As to the reason why I want Victoria II itself? Well, I'm probably not the only person who does this, but when I see an exciting show on television (usually the history channel or military channel, etc.) about a time period, I have this overwhelming compulsion to go pretend to exist in that world. So if I see a show on World War II, I run off to play HOI3. When I saw a show on Conquistadors and the colonization wars for the New World, I had to play EU3! But there is still this emptiness, a void in my fantasy universe between the time of 1800s to 1930s. And this game would solve my problem!

Got an A in History whit knowledge gained from playing Vic2..
And a C in Geography(knew a few things about where some countries was located + a few things about resources etc).

I absolutely loved the first Victoria because of its scale and the time period, specially because my home country makes for a great first start and I am a bit of a civil war freak....
I participated in a same kind of contest to win a copy of Hearts of Iron III (you can check), because I was a bit short on cash...I did not win but could not stomach the defeat and bought a copy shortly after that anyway...i just hope this effort is more successful for me (and my wallet) ....
Of course you could argue that I will also buy this game if I lose again so I may be shooting myself in the foot here with my argumento

i should win 'cause i get bored waiting VIP II ,the new patch,saving enough money and to convince my father that paradox is not like other companies and they deserve every single cent that i give

I bought EU3 Complete recently. It was that or Vic2. I had to make a choice. You heard me, I had to choose between 2 Great Paradox Titles, which is totally cruel and no human being should have to endure that. I need a free copy of Vic2 to ease the pain!!!!

Our agreement with the international monetary fund forced us to cut down wages and pensions, and my financial minister warned me: "If you spend your money on a video game, the media will crucify us!"
I desperately need Victoria 2 in order to reduce my stress levels. Before the crisis, my hair was something to envy. Now, I have become bald. My blood pressure is rising.
I would love to take charge of a nation and lead it to prosperity. Obviously, I can't do that with RL Greece. I own other Paradox games, but you can't build wine factories in those games (real factories, not wine manufacturies as in the EU series).
So please help a miserable 55-year-old politician.
