My wife and I both got Europa Universalis IV and are loving it. There is one catch, however, and it has to do with the terrain. With identical videocards and similar set ups we somehow have completely different terrain detail.
Terrain in her EU IV game is incredibly detailed--you can see individual marshes!
Terrain in mine is not only blurry and lame, but I can also see the seams between what seems to be square tiles of textures. Country names on her map are crisp and clear, while mine are slightly pixelated and blah. You can see examples of this in the pictures I included in this thread. I also included a dxdiag.
We both have our detail settings to max(default), and I updated my graphics drivers again just in case. No difference. No settings on my ATI Catalyst software should be making a difference either.
So now what do I do?
