I'm playing as Ryukyu and one of my vassals has the support of a large nation outside of Ming's tributary sphere (Bahmanis). If my vassal declares war, and that nation joins their side, will Ming come to mine? Or am I on my own?
I really wanted to annex that vassal though... Their L.D. is crazy high because of the support independence. Any ideas on what I could do in order to stop this? Only way I can think of is to somehow truce them...
Declare on whoever supports their independence. Or hope they declare on you, a lost independence war gives a massive reduction to liberty desire. It also resets any progress made on integrating them, so don't start to annex vassals that might turn on you.
Any way you could vassalize your way into a defensive war vs. Bahmanis? That'd let you call Ming in as well; you could rip Bahmanis up and kill two birds with one stone.
