Will there be Croatia as Hungarian vassal in EUII, or as an posible rebelion nation ?????

It was never an Hungarian province!!

from 1102.AD. Croatia was in personal union with Hungary.
Newer a province of Hungary.
Alauth Hungary trayed to make it youst a province!

This is same situation as Kalmar union

Come on!

Well, if Croatia would be included, then one would have to simulate a whole dynastic model that included personal unions. Paradox has chosen not to as they are generally not changing much in EU2 extension pack. Then you could also simulate Norway etc. and more importantly - promote the game in those neglected countries.

Really, I think Croatia has little chances of making it into EU2, but I understand your desire to see it in. Personally, I want a preoper simulation of trade, dynasties, politics and diplomacy. EU fails in these areas, you must admit.

If you can figure out how to work the Text files, you can add in Croatia yourself. For EUII, it may be simpler with the scenario editor they are adding....

This historic period shuld be more on dynasties than nations...
Lets take Habsburgs for instance Spain and Austria.
They were united Under Karl V "In one person"
and EU trets cauntrys as nations wat they wasnth be until 1792 etc,etc,etc....

You're right with the dynasties being the important factor and not the individual provinces/nations.. it's all a lot more complex than a mere computer game could ever completely capture. Hopefully in EU2, there will be more joining together and subsequent breaking up of countries... in EU, once you inherited a nation there was damn-all chance of you ever letting it go again, whereas Charles had the sense to realise his realm was too big and unwieldy, and broke it up by donating chunks to different relatives.

Firstly, you do not need to apologise for your spelling. That you can write any English at all speaks well of you, and most of the time your intent is quite clear. English is one of the most confusing languages in the world with regard to spelling - there simply is no logic behind how words are spelt, so I do not envy you having to study it.

You are correct about Charles the Great (Charlemagne, as he is commonly known in western Europe) although actually I meant the King Charles of Spain/Austria, who you would know as Karl V .... the Hapsburg man. (In Spain, he was Carlos I, and the English version of the name is Charles.) He passed Austria and the Imperial Crown to his brother, and bequeathed Spain, the Netherlands and the overseas dominions to his son.

I know a lot of English people who can't write English as well as you do

At least there aren't all the changes of case, and multiple endings/genders and stuff that most languages seem to have. It's just hideously illogical spellings that are the problem

I studied Serbo-Croat a little some twelve years ago, because I was going on holiday in Istria (Slovenia as it now is, it was still all one country back then.) I didn't learn very much, and what I learnt I've forgotten

English is the world language only because the British Empire conquered more of the world than anybody else ever managed. But for exceptionally stormy weather in the Channel in the summer of 1588, it would have been Spanish

Not entirely true. As early as the 100 years war, it became less a feudal war and more a war between England and France, as national identities emerged in the early modern era. Nationalism existed to a certain degree as is shown in EU with the 3% revolt risk for nationalism. Also, there not all of Europe was ruled by monarchs, there were some Republics as well. In the American Revolution the patriots were certainly fighting for their state, and nationalism exploded with the Napoleonic wars, which occured in the EUII time frame.

S is similar to oficial H only in gramry.

If you no "Oficial" Croatian and Searbian then you can anderstand 70%-80% wone ichader .... but if you donth speak "Oficial" youl be totaly lost in CRO and SRB.... thers 3 historical zones of influenc in CRo
