This is something worth considering seeing how some aspects of the game work. You keep a maximum of 1000 influence and can never increase the cap, and energy gets capped off at 10k which becomes very problematic during large-scale wars even if you can depend on your fleet getting pruned by an opposing navy.
That being the case, you have to wonder if/how the game could include capacity boosters for these values. An energy capacity boosting building would be easy since balancing it would not be very much different from balancing a capacity boost to minerals. As for influence and food, however, who knows how those would have to work? I have no doubt their boosts would have to be small, possibly in the realm of +100 or even +50. For Influence especially, it would have to in some way account for the possibility of being built on every planet in an empire or building it would have to be limited, possibly by how many planets the empire controls or per sector.
