I'm super excited to do a mega-campaign of Imperator -> CK2 -> EU4 and maybe Stellaris if I can unite the planet before the end of EU4.
I really doubt it. Creating such a feature is cool and all in theory. But due to them having to maintain this converter, every time CK2 or Rome is patched it becomes too much of a hassle.
I personally don't see the need for such a converter either. You inevitably lose most of the features that defined your nation and if you are a halfway decent player, there will be absolutely no challenge in CK2 as you now control most of the known world. But that's just my opinion.
I don't think : there will be a gap of 800 years between Imperator and CK2.
In Imperator we will build an empire, but before going to CK2 this empire need to break down
I hope Paradox will one day make a game about the late antiquity
well, afaik there was a converter from the original rome to even ck2 so it should be doable.
well but they have to in this game since there were huge celtic migrations into south and south east europe, greece and anatolia etc. there was a celtic invasion of greece in 279 bcNope, it would make no sense as Imperator does not simulate the Roman Imperial Period and the Migrational Period.

Cimbrian invasion of Italy was a huge deal too. That was was 113-101bc.well but they have to in this game since there were huge celtic migrations into south and south east europe, greece and anatolia etc. there was a celtic invasion of greece in 279 bc
Imperator: Rome might perhaps be expanded up to 3rd century and Crusader Kings II couldn't really go back before the 8th century, so there will need to get a game on Late Antiquity and Barbaric invasions to fill the gap before being able to get what you request...
