otherwise historical game, so if you agree to it Poland becomes more anti-USSR, or if Poland refuses and denies Hitler it means

Will the events have more weight to them like in Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV? I always felt like the events in Hearts of Iron III felt really lacking and 'gamey': "You have received a 5% production capacity boost."
Or is it too early to comment on what the events will be like?

Poland already gets its share of Czechoslovakia in HOI3 now. It's tiny, but Poland gets the land they historically demanded in an ultimatum on September 30th of 1938 in the wake of First Vienna Award (which is what the decision is called in HOI3, which everyone can see in their notifiers). What else is there to agree on with Hitler regarding the Czechs?

I think poland was already quite a lot anti-ussr already, problem is, Germany was quite anti-poland (because of danzig and a few other issues).

Actually, as Germany i'd like to have a valid strategy of USSR first where you ally with poland and other eastern countries to take out USSR while Great Britain sit down and enjoy the show.

But refusing to participate in the First Vienna Award isn't the same thing as adopting a pro-Soviet policy. I'm not an expert on Polish history of the 30s, but short of a communist revolution happening out of the blue, was there anything that would convince Polish leadership to be pro-Soviet in 1938 or 1939? They turned down an offer of Red Army help even when it was clear Germany was coming after them next.

Can you imagine the clauzwitz engine without events. It would be a world with no sky!..... Though I would like to see an event choice like this. Wasn't hitlers original goal war with Russia to gain "land to live" or something like that.... so wouldnt something like this either a) lead to an eventual war anyway with poland to annex the rest

b) lead to a WW2 starting with russia verse Germany (if thats even a world war)

I dont get what you exactly mean ? to my knowlenge hitler and poles didnt exactly coperated in thier efforts to patrion czechoslovakia, they acted independtly but they using claims of other to even increase pressure on czechs. Poles presure was one of reson why they resigned on defence against germany. They lacked enough men for gernman front alone, and if you add long polich borders to that mix which must be defended too....
So your alternatives only are is that poles back down and dont presurre czechs, giving them hope for fight against germany, but thats all - mayby with another event that allow soviets to pass poland to help czechs in thier (alone) war against germans.

Dream of many poles at that time will have to common borders with hungary - so yes, basicaly seprataing slovaks and rhuthenia between these two. post muchich teritory gains for hungary and poles didnt fully satisfied none of these countries.
And yes, i agree with tghat part tham many of chances/events are missing in pre 1938/39 period.
Now you have munich or war (and then vienna partioning), but that all. It realy miss road to munich - like rising up in arm of sudeten germans after hitles norimberg speech, czech goverment finding of smugling of ex-austrians arm to arm sg - and keeping silent, instead of exposing it publicky to undermine hitlers peace loving face. And few others missed ones.

Not really - let's say that Czechoslovakia would give Poland Zaolzie in exchange for polish help. The reason why Poland hated Czechoslovakia (and vice versa) was that Czechoslovakia "stole" Zaolzie when Poland was busy fighting Soviets. In the same way Lithuania hated Poland - because Poland "stole" Wilno.
