Will there be adoptions?

Given the preponderance of the practice in Rome, and it occurring to various extents across much of the eastern Mediterranean as well, I'm surprised nothing has yet been mentioned towards the ability of families to adopt into other families. If not, it ought to be added at some point down the road.

I support this. Not only it is an important mechanic, it should also keep dynasties without their old children alive as they adopt minor sons from other families.

But then they proceeded to botch the game by not allowing you to marry within the party. No cousin marriages, no marrying daughters to generals. Just "randomly generated spouse" for everyone, with lots of useless characters and tediousness (making adoption pointless). Two steps forward, two steps back.

Not saying CA didn't bungle R2 horribly, which would make it even more embarrassing if Imperator can't top them in that regard.
