Soviet Union yeeeeeeessssss (or daaaaaaaaaaaa)
If they iron out balance to where the top players are very happy with it, address as many other issues and complaints that players had before they dropped the game as possible, and then added the Soviets in?

The spike in players that the Soviet fans would bring in, plus how such a DLC always caused major spikes in Wargame, you might revitalize the community enough that it doesn't stay so depressingly low.

A Soviet Union DLC would probably juice things up a lot.

Inb4 "this is Normandy."

That would be nice, but then again, that would require a ton of development time and resources, which Eugen clearly cannot expend right now.

And still wouldn't fix the core issues causing this game to have lost almost 75% of its playerbase in about 2 months.

If EUGEN sticks with their trend as to how the did the WG series, they might already be plotting for how to do Steel Division 2. Might be like with EE to ALB to RG, might as well start working on the next in the series to ax the problems you have in the previous game. Who knows though.

We shall see I guess, if the rumors behind the new DLC are true I don't see it being a big enough draw to pull in a bunch of players again. If they released something that was of the scale as the Viking or Bloc Party DLCs for RD, that could definitely draw in people again.

I won't be purchasing SD2 if that is the case
