Yes of course i mean on high end PCs like the one from German Pc Magazine "Gamestar", they tested it on Intel i7-6700K with 16 GB RAM, Geforce GTX 970 and an SSD and they talk about performance problems. Even the Streamers had more than the recommended stats but of course you are right, i should have told this in my first post.

If there were performance problems on a machine as powerful as that, then most people are going to have some issues.

Based on past Paradox performance, I expect they will work on things more diligently than most companies.

Every Paradox game I've ever bought (going back to EU1) has had issues at release. The thing that makes Paradox worth sticking with is not that they make perfect products, but that they support them for a long, long time.

I love Paradox and all the other Paradox games and i also have most of this prescious pieces of games history, and i also have bought stellaris too, but this is also the reason why i ask, because every paradox game have its perfomance issues and i hoped this time it is better, thats the reason why i aks.

99% of the time i played the paradox games online with a couple of friends and if it had some performance problems on 1000 stars maps in single player, i dont want to think about our multiplayer rounds :( And to be honest, after what ive seen since now even the 1000 stars maps arent REALLY big in my opionions so i hoped that there will be a few mods with more stars. The Dev Blog where they talked about 5000 stars maps was the final "feature" or call it "reason" why we bought this game, so you maybe understand my fear :-/

I have seen YouTubers run 3000 star galaxies without any noticeable performance issues (1-3 second autosaves excluded), so I would not worry about performance.

Was this lategame with all of the 3000 star systems claimed & settled and pops on most colonizable worlds? I imagine it could make a massive difference...

An early game 3000 star galaxy with only 100-200 stars settled would probably be less performance demanding then a late game filled 1000 star galaxy.

My friend i hope you are right, but how? I thought in the Game there are only 1000 Stars Maximum?
